Daryl and Dan’s Gay Summer Wedding.

I’d never shot a wedding at Pendley Manner before and I was really looking forward to it, the thing I like about photographing at new locations is that it keeps it fresh. I was there to meet Daryl & Dan whose wedding had been rescheduled twice, their first photographer, unfortunately was unable to do their new date so luckily for me I was available and so I stepped in.
Daryl & Dan were great company, we had a thorough look around the venue and made sure I knew exactly what their plans were for their awe-inspiring wedding day, even the peacocks looked interested!
Moving on 6 weeks to the big day, I arrived 50 minutes early as is often the case. The guys had decided to keep their day traditional, with a hint of gay and lots of them. The emotion and the love they have for each other shone through in droves! It has been a long and hard journey for gay people to get equal marriage rights and it’s something dear to my heart.
Add to that the awesome gardens with the archery course, stunning peacocks, the emotional speeches with video and the amazing group of people that made the day happen and you have a recipe for success. Daryl and Dan – it was amazing!

The whole day was nothing if not a whole day of fun.
